At a 3.5% withdrawal rate, your ₹60.0 K/month today becomes roughly ₹1.44 L/month at your FIRE age, after inflation.

02

How this is calculated

The FIRE number is annual expenses at your target age, divided by your safe withdrawal rate: FIRE number = Annual expenses ÷ Withdrawal rate. A lower withdrawal rate produces a larger number, but a plan more resilient to a longer payout period — which matters more the earlier you're aiming to stop working. See FIRE in India for why many planners use a more conservative rate here than the US-standard 4%.

The required SIP then solves backwards from that target, net of what your existing corpus is projected to grow into on its own by your target age — the same future-value-then-solve-backwards approach used by the retirement calculator.
